YEREVAN. – If the Russian Empire is being restored in Armenia, the nuclear plant will shut down again, and the strikes, hunger strikes and protests will occur again; that is, we will return to the 1980s.  

Supreme Soviet [Parliament] of Armenia [SSR] ex-deputy, former political prisoner Azat Arshakyan noted the aforesaid at a press conference on Thursday. 

In his words, Armenians must strive for freedom, instead of returning to the Russian Empire.

On his part, National Security Party Chairman, former presidential adviser Garnik Isagulyan noted that the incumbent authorities have dilapidated the national properties of Armenia.

As per Isagulyan, Armenians need to change in such a way that they are taken into account.  

“That is why I was proposing to our three presidents to discuss, realize what our shortfall was. Unless this is done, we cannot find a solution; this is our main problem,” he said.       

Garnik Isagulyan added that if the Armenian authorities do not draw the appropriate conclusions, revolution is inevitable.
