The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights on Thursday formally signed a letter of understanding in Winnipeg, Canada.  

With this memorandum, the parties agreed to collaborate in Armenian Genocide Studies and in several other domains.

The letter of understanding was signed by the Armenian museum-institute’s director Hayk Demoyan and the Canadian museum’s president and CEO Stuart Murray.

In addition, the two parties agreed to hold, in 2015—that is, on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide—at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, a temporary exhibition devoted to the Armenian Genocide.   

Along the lines of his visit to Canada, Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Director Hayk Demoyan also met with representatives of the Armenian communities in Toronto and Montreal.
