Russia and Turkey are getting ready for the consultations on visa regime lifting, Interfax reports referring to Russian FM representative Andrey Nesterenko.

“Currently, the terms on consultation holding are being agreed upon based on the relevant intergovernmental agreement,” he added.

According to him, Russian party is ready for the extensive discussion of new procedure introduction providing for the border crossing by citizens of all categories. “We consider this activity as a crucial part of further multidimensional, enhanced Russian-Turkish partnership, development of humanitarian intercourse between our states,” Russian official said.
