Ukraine has $3.1 billion in its accounts, which the country can use to pay for the natural gas, UNIAN news agency reported citing Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

Yatsenyuk stated the aforesaid on the air of a national TV channel.

The Ukrainian PM also noted, however, that the gas issue will remain unresolved unless an agreement on gas supply and payment is prepared and signed.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk added that he supports the terms for specifying a temporary gas price depending on the season ($325 in summer and $385 in winter, per cubic meter).
