A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France reflected on several French mayors’ recent visit to Nagorno-Karabakh.
The MFA official noted, however, that such initiatives do not change the official position of France, which has not recognized Karabakh’s independence.
“As a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, France is engaged in seeking avenues for a diplomatic and political settlement of the conflict,” the France MFA representative specifically noted.
