YEREVAN. – An 85-year-old woman had died on October 19 in Bambakashat village of Armenia’s Armavir Region. 

On Wednesday, however, Armenian News-NEWS.am found out horrifying details about this incident.

According to the information disseminated in the village, the elderly woman was beaten to death by her son and daughter.   

An argument had started over domestic issues, and it had ended with the woman’s death.   

According to widespread rumors in the village, the victim’s children have psychological problems.

The Police confirmed the incident to Armenian News-NEWS.am, and but they did not provide any details.

A criminal case is launched, and an investigation is underway into this incident.
