YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Vayots Dzor Regional Governor Edgar Ghazaryan has resigned. The government confirmed his resignation during the session on Thursday.
First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administartion Vache said the former governor will assume new job.
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan congratulated him and wished success in his endeavor.
Edgar Ghazaryan was appointed in 2012 when Prosperous Armenia left the ruling coalition and was deprived of a quota in the government and local self-governance bodies.
