The total amount of French investments in Armenia have reached $1 billion, up to and including 2013.
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian noted the aforesaid at a briefing with reporters, after Monday’s talks in Paris between the presidents of Armenia, France, and Azerbaijan.
In his words, Armenian-French interparliamentary relations are developing, decentralized cooperation is expanding, and cultural and educational ties are developing and strengthening.
“The agenda of the bilateral relations is quite full and we always have a lot of matters to discuss. Each and every occasion for a meeting on the presidents’ level creates an opportunity to discuss these matters.
“[French President] François Hollande is expected to pay a visit to Armenia in the first half of next year,” the Armenian FM stressed, in particular.
