YEREVAN. – The pregnancy benefits in Armenia will increase by 35 percent next year. 

The aforesaid is noted in the 2015 State Budget draft.

Specifically, if the respective daily allowance is 3,566 drams (approx. $8.70), it will rise to 4,804 drams (approx. $11.72) in the coming year. 

The total duration for the payment of this benefit is 140 days.

In addition, about 11,200 mothers in Armenia will receive a monthly allowance of 18,000 drams (approx. $43.93) for the care of their children up to two years old.
