YEREVAN. – The number of inclusive schools in Armenia will rise from 101 to 124 next year.

The Minister of Education and Science, Armen Ashotyan, noted the aforesaid at Monday’s 2015 State Budget draft deliberations at the National Assembly.

Overall, next year’s budget plans to allocate Armenian drams equivalent to approximately $5.6 million for the country’s inclusive education support programs. This amount is 48.2 percent more than the 2014 program, and it is owing to a growing number of inclusive schools and children with physical and mental abilities.

Instead of 2,700, a total of 3,700 such children will attend ordinary schools in Armenia next year.
