YEREVAN. – The quality of trade between the future members of the Eurasian Economic Union has improved, Russian Minister Tatyana Volovaya said.

Valovaya, the Eurasian Economic Commission Board Member and Minister for Macroeconomics and Principal Directions of Integration, participated in the congress of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen on Friday.

The volume of domestic trade has reduced, but structure has improved. The share of mineral raw materials is declining, while the share of finished products is growing. In terms of degree of added value, the structure of trade within the EEU is progressing better than the structure of trade with the third countries, she added.

On Thursday evening Armenian parliament ratified the treaty to join Eurasian Economic Union.
