YEREVAN. – Relations with Armenia and Karabakh issue are not the only problems between Russia and Turkey, expert in Turkic studies told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Viktor Nayedin Ravesky, a senior fellow of the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Institute of World Economy and International Relations, believes that Russia never forgets about Armenia's interests, while Karabakh issue is raised during all talks.

He noted that during Russian leader's talks with his Turkish counterpart in Ankara, the political problems were separated from the economic ones.

“Relations with Armenia and Karabakh issue are not the only problems between Russia and Turkey. There is Syrian crisis where approaches are completely different, not to mention Crimea and Ukraine where differences are obvious,” the expert stated.

He added that Turkey experiences unprecedented pressure from the European Union and U.S.
