A Russian child has died in the pool of a hotel in Antalya, Turkey.
Russia’s Consul General in Antalya, Aleksandr Tolstopyatnenko, told TASS news agency of Russia that, according to preliminary information, the little boy had died of asphyxia due to drowning.
The forensic medical examination, however, will determine the exact cause of death.
On Monday, the child’s body will be transferred from Antalya to Magnitogorsk, Russia.
An investigation into the boy’s death is in progress, and as a result, a criminal case will be opened.
