YEREVAN. – Armenia's Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian has advised the leadership of Azerbaijan to return to reality.

Asked about PACE report on the functioning of democratic institutions in Azerbaijan, Minister Nalbandian said Baku is trying to justofy authoritarian regime in an attempt to save their reputation that is declining with every day.

The attempts provoke negative reaction and discontent of PACE delegates, the Minister said during his joint media conference with Czech counterpart Lubomír Zaorálek.

Edward Nalbandian advised the Azerbaijani leadership to come back to reality “from caviar and oil virtual world.”

As reported earlier, the phrase “Assembly is fully aware of the occupation by Armenia of Nagorno-Karabakh and seven other provinces of Azerbaijan,” was replaced with “of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict” in the PACE report on Azerbaijan.
