YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 473.18/$1 in Armenia on Friday; this is up by AMD 0.53 from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 529.58 (up by AMD 1.82), that of one British pound was AMD 744.79 (up by AMD 3.49), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.58 (down by AMD 0.08), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 241.47, AMD 17,836.36 and AMD 16,214.18, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 1,980,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 473.5/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 473.5/$1.
