STEPANAKERT. – A Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh) delegation, led by President Bako Sahakyan, on Monday arrived in Great Britain on a working visit.
On Tuesday, Sahakyan had a meeting in London with members of the Armenian Community Council and discussed the development of ties between the local Armenian community and Artsakh, reported the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.
On the same day, the NKR President met with representatives of the British Armenian community, at St. Yeghishe Armenian Church in London.
Sahakyan provided information about life in Artsakh, its accomplishments and challenges, and responded to the questions asked.
According to Bako Sahakyan, the Armenian community of Great Britain plays an active role in the life of the UK, the Armenian Diaspora, and the historic Motherland.
The NKR President also expressed gratitude to the community representatives for their patriotism and devotion to the native people.
