It’s already the third year, Sosé & Allen’s Legacy Foundation has teamed up with Fuller Center for Housing Armenia to help construct homes for families in need in Armenia.

This year, 34 volunteers from the AYF Youth Corps program help the Gziryan family from the city of Ashtarak in Armenia’s Aragatsotn region construct a house, Asbarez reports.

The Gziryans are a family of six: the grandmother, her sons, daughters-in-law and their three children. The grandfather died in Karabakh Liberation war.

Over years the family lived in the houses of their relatives and friends. In 2009, the Gziryans purchased land, but were unable to build a home due to financial difficulties. 

Sosé & Allen’s Legacy Foundation was set up in Glendale, California, in memory of the Armenian couple who died in an accident in Georgia.
