Armenia President Serzh Sargsyan today attended the opening of sports and music schools in Armenia’s Kotayk and Gegharkunik provinces respectively.
The sports school in Yeghvard city of Kotayk province disposes of a large gym for volleyball, basketball and mini-football, as well as a small one for wrestling, box and judo. The school has tennis, basketball and volleyball court as well. It has opened 25 work places.
The music school in Martuni city of Armenia’s Gegharkunik province has been renovated thanks to the means provided by the budget and municipality, as well as by Hovsep and Nadia Sarafians, philanthropists from Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU).
The school holds classes of piano and national instruments. The renovated school will operate 30 work places.
