Prime Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh), Ara Harutyunyan, on Monday met with a delegation from the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA). The delegation is led by the newly elected co-chair of the AAA Board of Trustees, Van Krikorian.
The NKR PM underscored the role of the AAA in consolidating the Diaspora Armenians around national preservation and patriotic programs, and in advocating Armenian interests in the US.
Krikorian, for his part, noted that achieving the NKR’s international recognition continues to be an agenda issue of the AAA. He also asked about Artsakh’s priorities challenges, and expressed readiness to assist in addressing these challenges.
Subsequently, the parties discussed the avenues for the development of cooperation in the political, economic, and humanitarian domains.
In addition, specific agreements were reached on the future courses of action.
