YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 477.18/$1 in Armenia on Monday; this is up by AMD 0.83 from the previous day.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 528.67 (down by AMD 3.22), that of one British pound was AMD 743.21 (up by AMD 5.53), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.42 (up by AMD 0.01), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 237.03, AMD 17,785.62, and AMD 15,832.63, respectively.

The NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, however, was closed on Monday.
