The Ambassador of Armenia to Poland, Edgar Ghazaryan, paid a visit to Lublin city.

The ambassador attended several cultural events within the framework of the Culture of the East program, and met with representatives of the municipal authorities of Lublin.

The Armenian diplomat also was on hand at the screening of Tevanik, a work by Karabakh filmmaker Jivan Avetisyan and devoted to the Karabakh War.

In addition, Ghazaryan met with Mayor Krzysztof Żuk of Lublin. The mayor expressed his wish and readiness to collaborate with one of the cities in Armenia, and use this partnership as an opportunity for making economic and cultural ties grow deeper.

A particular importance was attached to the development of cooperation in the domain of education.

Ambassador Ghazaryan, for his part, thanked for the hospitality toward Armenian artists and the opportunity for presenting the Armenian culture to the residents of Lublin, and along the lines of the Culture of the East program.

Separately, Ambassador Edgar Ghazaryan delivered remarks at an Armenian Genocide discussion that was held in the discussions’ hall of the Dominican Church and Monastery of Lublin.
