YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 478.41/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday; this is up by AMD 0.57 from Tuesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 527.16 (down by AMD 0.14), that of one British pound was AMD 747.04 (up by AMD 2.18), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.45 (up by AMD 0.06), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 235.03, AMD 17,802.24, and AMD 15,842.67, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 1.5 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 479.5/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 479.5/$1.
