A tragic traffic accident occurred Friday in the Lori Province of Armenia, and as a result, Lusaghbyur village prefect Manvel Khachatryan has died. 

Hartagyugh village mayor Andranik Harutyunyan, who is on the scene, told about the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Lada Niva jeep, which Khachatryan was driving, had collided with a freight train, and the village mayor had died on the spot.

There were four people in his vehicle, and three are his children.

Harutyunyan added that the children are in normal health condition, and they are being taken to a hospital.
