YEREVAN. – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, on Friday received a delegation from the South Korea-Armenia Friendship Group at the National Assembly of South Korea, and led by the head of this group, Noh Young-min.
First, Nalbandian highly praised Armenia’s dynamically developing partnership with South Korea. He also thanked this country for its assistance in Armenia’s development.
Noh Young-min, for his part, noted that he is happy to visit Armenia, and to discuss with his colleagues the parliamentarians’ efforts to strengthen relations.
Subsequently, the interlocutors exchanged views on the avenues for making Armenian-South Korean collaboration grow deeper. They also underscored the need to enhance the legal framework between the two countries.
In addition, Edward Nalbandian briefed the guests on the Armenian Genocide Centennial commemorations being held across the world, and the meaning of these remembrance events.
The Armenian FM also informed the South Korean delegation about the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
