The term of the preliminary examination on the case of the skirmish in Armenia’s second largest city of Gyumri is coming to an end, attorney Tamara Yayloyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am. The conclusions of the forensic and other expert examinations have already been received; the reasons of the death are known and the outcomes of a number of other criminal expert examinations, as well as line-ups are expected. According to Yayloyan, her clients Hovhannes Tonoyan and Hamlet Gevorgyan must be witnesses and not defendants during in the case.   

Earlier, Armenian News – NEWS.am reported that skirmish took place in Gyurmi in the night of 7 March 2015. Six people were taken to the medical centre in Gyumri.

Within the framework of the case, dozens of people were taken to the police. The case involves 6 defendants; several people have been put on the wanted list.
