YEREVAN. - The import of fish consignment from Vietnam to Armenia was suspended. In the framework of border control, State Food Security Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Agriculture sent the cargo samples of 24,7 tones of frozen swai fish for testing. As it turned out, the fish fails to correspond to several parameters stipulated by legislation.

Considering the revealed discrepancies, the import of the aforementioned fish to the territory of Armenia was banned. The dangerous product is subject to destruction.
