YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 480.57/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is up by AMD 0.24 from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 521.75 (up by AMD 1.22), that of one British pound was AMD 747.67 (up by AMD 0.52), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.43 (down by AMD 0.01), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 229.29, AMD 17,066.82 and AMD 15,157.12, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 3.1 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 480.2/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 480.15/$1.
