YEREVAN. - Consultation on tax legislation reforms took place in the Armenian government today. The meeting, attended by the heads of responsible agencies, was chaired by Armenia’s PM Hovik Abrahamyan.
Issues on ensuring long-term and sustainable economic growth, export stimulation, improvement of business environment, as well as increasing competitiveness, perspectives and possibilities of attracting investments were touched on during the meeting. Exchange of opinions took place, during which the changes on a number of directions were discussed. A number of proposals were introduced.
Summing up the results of the discussion, the head of the government stressed the importance of the tax legislation reforms in terms of long-term and sustainable economic development and instructed the heads of the agencies concerned to continue the work started.
