STEPANAKERT. – The Azerbaijan armed forces on Tuesday continued intensively violating the ceasefire along the entire length of the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.

Accordingly, the adversary violated the ceasefire around 160 times in one day, reported the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ministry of Defense. 

During this time, more than 1,600 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle and artillery weaponry—including grenade launchers and mine throwers—, and over 140 shots were fired with machine guns.

The NKR Defense Army vanguard units took retaliatory actions, and as a result, the adversary’s attacks were quelled.
