YEREVAN. – Armenia's Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Wednesday received Argentina's newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia Gonzalo Urriolabeitia.
Prime Minister Abrahamyan congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished success in responsible mission. He said Armenia attaches importance to the consistent development of relations with Argentina, expressing confidence that the Ambassador will give new impetus to strengthening of bilateral ties.
Ambassador Urriolabeitia said he is honored to represent Argentina in friendly Armenia and assured he would spare no effort to preserve the achievements and deepen cooperation in different areas.
The Prime Minister praised political dialogue between the two countries and thanked the Argentinean authorities for their attitude to the Armenian community. Hovik Abrahamyan stressed the need for development of Armenian-Argentinean trade and economic cooperation as well as increase in trade turnover, expressing, on behalf of the government, Armenia's readiness to support all efforts in this direction.
