The Georgian police have detained Armenian citizen Artak Kh., who had brought 57 kg of amphetamine into Georgia.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has issued a respective statement.
Accordingly, the Armenian citizen entered Georgia with his Toyota Land Cruiser. Subsequently, the Georgian police discovered 96.4 liters of liquid in the tank of the vehicle, and which contained narcotic drugs, reported Sputnik Georgia.
Artak Kh. was detained after the chemical examination, which had revealed 57 kg of amphetamine and 226 grams of methamphetamine inside the aforementioned liquid.
The Armenian citizen faces fifteen to twenty years in prison.
