STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh), Bako Sahakyan, on Thursday received a group of Diaspora Armenian students.
These students are now living and working in Armenia, and within the framework of the student summer program of the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA).
Sahakyan welcomed the young Diaspora Armenians’ enrolment in Armenian state agencies, and underscored this program from the viewpoint of cementing Motherland-Diaspora ties, reported the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.
The domestic and foreign policy of the NKR, and Artsakh-Diaspora relations also were discussed during this talk.
AAA Regional Director Arpi Vartanian and several officials also attended the meeting.
