YEREVAN. – Armenia's Prime Minister Hovok Abrahamyan on Friday received Turkmenistan's newly appointed Ambassador Muhammetniyaz Mashalov.
The Armenian PM congratulated Muhammetniyaz Mashalov on his appointment and wished success in his mission. Abrahamyan hailed the current level of Armenian-Turkmen relations and expressed confidence that Ambassador will give an impetus to deepening and strengthening of cooperation.
Ambassador Mashalov assured the Armenian PM he would work for deepening of bilateral ties in different areas.
The sides noted importance of intensifying economic ties and using the existing potential. Wide range of issues was discussed during the meeting.
