YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received information on Monday at 11:35pm.
Accordingly, a traffic accident had occurred on the Hrazdan-Hankavan motorway in the Kotayk Province, and assistance was needed.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
It was found out that a truck—with driver A. H., 28—and an automobile—with driver A. P., 26—had collided on the aforementioned road for yet unknown reasons.
The car driver and passenger, H. M., 26, were hospitalized at the Hrazdan city medical center where, however, A. P. died without regaining consciousness.
H. M., on the other hand, was transferred to No. 1 University Hospital of Yerevan, the capital city, where the physicians said the patient is in moderate condition.
