YEREVAN. – Armenia’s health resort city of Jermuk has almost as many tourists this year as last year, reported Hraparak daily.

“[But] with one difference that those arriving from Russia are more this year. Russians do not travel to Europe that much, like before, and Armenia’s Jermuk is more accessible to them.

“But Jermuk residents record that this year has a peculiarity. The holidaymakers do not make extra expenses; they solely get [health] treatment.

“The restaurant-cafés are empty. Although the health resorts are full, even the revenue of the cable car has fallen,” wrote Hraparak.
