YEREVAN. – Davit Davtyan, 27, who had headed from Armenia to Ukraine in a car on August 1, has gone missing.

Davtyan’s friend Robert Bejanov told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the last time he spoke with him was on Monday.

“Davit was taking clothes from [Armenia’s capital city of] Yerevan to Kharkiv [in Ukraine],” said Bejanov. “He had already reached Kamensk-Shakhtinsky town in the Rostov Oblast (province) of Russia; the connection was lost after that.”

Davtyan’s relatives have contacted the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, which informed that he had not entered Ukraine.

The Armenian man had headed for Kharkiv in a navy-blue Opel Astra G, with license plates 34 MQ 795.
