The circumstances behind and motive for the recent murder of Armenian psychic medium Ani Majnumyan have been determined.

Together with the obtained evidence, criminal proceedings have been instituted against capital city Yerevan resident Mushegh Mkhitaryan, 20, and on charges of murder coupled with robbery, informed the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

In addition, the court granted the investigator’s motion to enforce arrest as the restraining order of the accused. 

The investigation into the murder is still in progress.

Ani Majnumyan was found dead in her apartment in Yerevan on August 5.

Majnumyan, 53, was a psychic medium in the “6th Sense” TV program.
