The adversary violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 400 times, and fired about 7,500 shots in the direction of Armenian military positions, on August 8 and 9.

During this time, and aside from rifle weaponry, the Azerbaijan armed forces also fired 165 missiles from mine throwers.

Vanguard units of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army, however, confidently carried out their military duty, and suppressed the adversary’s “activeness” by way of retaliatory actions.
