STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) military serviceman Karen Hovhannisyan sustained a fatal gunshot wound from an Azerbaijani bullet, on Wednesday at around 12:30pm.
The soldier was mortally wounded in the line of duty of a protection area of an NKR Defense Army unit, which is stationed in an easterly direction.
An investigation is underway to find out the details of this incident, reported the NKR Ministry of Defense.
