The Beekeepers’ Union of Russia is concerned by a reduction in the bee population in recent years.

According to a presented data, the number of bees in Russia has decreased three times in the past thirteen years. And according to preliminary calculations, bees may even become extinct in twenty years.

As per Union representative Olga Chupakhina, this sharp decrease in the number of bees is due to the deteriorating conditions on Earth. 

A study conducted by the Beekeepers’ Union of Russia has revealed that the number of bee species in the country has dropped 40 percent, in recent times.

Chupakhina added, however, that bees are becoming extinct all over the world, and this is due to the electromagnetic waves, reported Planet Today.
