New customs code of the Eurasian Economic Union has to be adopted in the near future to come into force in 2016, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said during the meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union.

He added that an agreement on the procedure for the conclusion of treaties on the approaches to regulate currency relations and activities in the financial markets, as well as many other documents, have to be prepared by the end of this year, RIA Novosti reported.
