YEREVAN. – Russia’s arms sales to Azerbaijan are a topic of concern to us.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Shavarsh Kocharyan, told the abovementioned to reporters, after Thursday’s Cabinet session.

As for a Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) intervention in case of Azerbaijani aggression against Armenia’s border villages, the deputy FM said Armenia has not petitioned to the CSTO regarding this matter.

“There is no need for it yet,” added Kocharyan.

At the same time, however, he stressed the importance of the existence of the agreements with organizations that “can assist Armenia in some cases.”

“But first and foremost, we need to rely on our own strength,” concluded Shavarsh Kocharyan.
