As case in point, the Metro newspaper mentioned Gisele Ganne’s Divorce Ring collection. These rings have birds carved on them, and which hold wedding bouquets and brass knuckles with flowers between their beaks.

Jewelry designer Anna Loucah, on the other hand, offers her clientele a more practical option. “The women that have commissioned me for remakes tend to see their decision as an empowering and practical one and I get the impression that they are celebrating the positive rather than reflecting on the negative,” she said, reported Lenta.ru, a Moscow-based online newspaper.

Jeweler Jessica de Lotz, however, has simply melt down for one customer the old tokens of affection, and from this molten metal, Jessica forged a personalized wax seal bracelet.
