The Finland police informed that dozens of asylum seekers are suspected in rapes, Yle reports. 

22 refugees are targets in the investigation regarding sexual assault, 25 being suspected in rapes.  

However, the police noted that considering the total number of cases into rape – which is over 1000 – this is a not much.

The National police chief Seppo Kolehmainen urged not to place all the asylum seekers on a par. According to him, most of them were forced to leave their homeland due to the tough situation there, and as representatives of a constitutional and civilized state, the Finnish people must help them.
