French Swiss chef Benoit Violier, who was named the “World’s best chef” in 2015, committed suicide, according to Le Figaro daily of France.
The police found Violier dead at his home in Switzerland on Sunday, reported RG.
A criminal case is launched to ascertain the circumstances behind the death.
According to preliminary information, however, Benoit Violier had shot himself with a gun.
