YEREVAN. - 250 Belarusian tractors and 150 units of other agricultural equipment were imported to Armenia pursuant to the state program.

Belarusian Forestry Minister Mikhail Amelyanovich stated the aforementioned today at a briefing with Armenia’s Economy Minister Karen Chshmaritian following the Armenian-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission session.

The relations between Belarus and Armenia are developing dynamically, and there are a number of long-term decisions. Negotiations are conducted on prolonging the decisions on agricultural equipment for the years ahead, as well as on the delivery of fertilizers.

“We are also discussing the use of our Belaz mining dump trucks in Armenia’s mining industry. By their quality they are highly competitive with global standards, and the price is lower currently,” the Belarusian Minister noted.

The Belarusian side also welcomes the delivery of Armenian production: brandy spirits, wines and agricultural products. “I think the amount of deliveries from Armenia will increase each year,” Mikhail Amelyanovich concluded.
