YEREVAN. - Armenian Economy Ministry is getting ready for an investment conference in New York in 2016.

Head of the Ministry’s Investment Policy Department, Vahagn Lalayan, told the aforementioned to the journalists today.

The preparatory events may start already in April-May. It’s not a common practice to gather the investors in February-March: such events are held in the period from April to June and from September to early November, he noted.

The Development Foundation of Armenia has already attracted consultants for preparing presentations. Both separate investment programs and sectors in general will most likely be presented too.

Where we aren’t able to present large projects – 10-20 mln and more - we’ll present the entire sphere at large,” Lalayan said. Thematic discussions will also be held, he added.

The conference is scheduled to be held in New York. Prior to this, presentations in seven large business centers – Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, London, Moscow, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Dubai - will be held.
