YEREVAN. – Not everyone, who publicly speaks about Eurasian integration, is well aware of it. 

Director of the Russia-Caucasus Geopolitical Center, Russian analyst Nikolay Banin, on Saturday told the aforesaid to reporters in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

“In many cases, they don’t trust the [Eurasian] integration only because they are not sufficiently aware of it,” he noted. “The other side of the matter is the discrediting of the Eurasian processes.”

The Russian analyst added that, nonetheless, numerous parliamentary forces—and even the opposition members—in Armenia have a constructive outlook on integration processes. And as per Nikolay Banin, this is very important considering the increasing role of the Parliament, following the constitutional amendments which recently were approved in the country.
