YEREVAN. - All the organizations concerned are recommended to take part in EU’s COSME program on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).
Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Economy Garegin Melkonyan told the aforementioned to the journalists at the opening of the EU4Business Week, a week of small and medium-sized enterprises in Armenia.
“Armenia signed an agreement on joining COSME by the end of 2015 and is now a fully-fledged member of the program. Both state organizations and NGOs – which is important to us – can apply to participate in the programs. That’s why I urge them to be attentive, follow COSME events and maximally participate in them,” Melkonyan said.
“The program has no country financial quota, thus the organizations from Armenia can be as active as they wish and can. It’s simply necessary to follow and apply,” he added.
EU4Business Week Forum is held in Yerevan in cooperation with Small and Medium Enterprise Cooperation Association NGO (Armenia), the European Association of Craft, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (UEAPME) and the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres).
