Online transaction data show that the world oil prices have dropped against the backdrop of the American Petroleum Institute (API) report that the crude inventories have increased.

Accordingly, the April Futures’ Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) has gone down by 0.22 percent and totaled $36.73 per barrel, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

As per the API, the crude inventories rose by 9.9 million barrels during the reporting week, and this is much more than the 2.6 million barrels that were projected.
